Gamestate Scavenger Hunt - Berlin Edition
Terms and Conditions.
The Gamestate Scavenger Hunt is an initiative by Gamestate to celebrate the opening of our new location in Berlin. The general terms and conditions for events and contests of Gamestate apply to this promotion and are binding for all participants.
The following specific terms and conditions also apply to this contest:
1. Participation
• Participation is free and does not require a purchase.
• The contest runs from April 12, 2025, to April 16, 2025.
• Only individuals 16 years and older may participate. If you are under 1, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
• Gamestate employees and involved partners are excluded from participation.
2. How Does the Scavenger Hunt Work?
• During the contest period, three playcards will be hidden daily at various locations in Berlin.
• Hints about the locations will be shared on Gamestate’s official social media channels.
• The hints will be revealed step by step:
1. First hint: General indication of the district.
2. Second hint: More specific details about the street.
3. Third hint: Exact details on where the playcard is hidden.
• One playcard will be released every three hours each day.
3. How to Win a Playcard?
• The first person to find the correct location and say the phrase: ‘Berlin is ready for round 2’ to the Gamestate representative wins the playcard.
• Each person can only win one playcard throughout the entire contest.
• If multiple participants arrive at the same time, the Gamestate representative will determine the winner with a tie-breaker question.
4. Fair Play & Conduct Rules
• It is not allowed to fake, sabotage, or unfairly manipulate hints or locations.
• Playcards cannot be taken without saying the correct code phrase.
• Participants must respect others, public spaces, and follow local regulations. Any misconduct may lead to disqualification.
• If a playcard is not found within a reasonable time, Gamestate may provide an extra hint or relocate it.
5. Prizes & Redemption
• The playcard can be redeemed at the new Gamestate location near Berlin Zoo and the existing location at Potzdamer Platz.
• The playcard grants 240 credits, worth € 95,99.
• Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.
• Winners may be asked to participate in promotional content (photos/videos) for Gamestate.
6. Privacy & Disqualification
• Participant data will not be shared with third parties, except where necessary for executing this contest.
• Gamestate reserves the right to disqualify participants in cases of fraud, misuse, or violations of these rules.
• The results of the contest are final and cannot be disputed.
