These are the general terms and conditions of JARR b.v., under which the GAMESTATE, GAMETOWN and GAMECITY branches operate (hereinafter referred to as: Veltmeijer Group). JARR b.v., established in Sittard at Dr. Nolenslaan 117, is registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number: 55390110, hereinafter referred to as: 'Veltmeijer Group'.
Consciously or unconsciously you share personal data with us. We consider it important that your personal data are handled carefully. That is why we have explained in this statement how we handle your personal data and which rights you have. Personal data that we process
Veltmeijer Group processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide those data to us yourself.
The personal data that we process are listed below;
- First name and surname;
- Gender;
- Date of birth;
- Phone number; E-mail address
- E-mail address;
- Address information;
- IP address;
- Payment information;
Special and/or sensitive personal data we process;
Veltmeijer Group processes personal data of individuals, whereby Veltmeijer Group assumes that minors only place orders with the explicit permission of their parent(s)/guardian(s)/guardian(s). During the ordering process the consumer must agree to be over 16 years of age and not be under administration and/or guardianship. Only then can a consumer place an order.
We advise the parent(s)/guardian(s)/guardian(s) to be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent products from being wrongly ordered or data of minors from being processed without permission. Veltmeijer Group has no intention of collecting data from website visitors under the age of 16. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data on a minor without explicit permission, please contact us at privacy@veltmeijer-group.com. We will remove this information upon request.
Purpose legal basis processing personal data;
Veltmeijer Group processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To place and process the order(s);
- Calling or e-mailing you if this is necessary in order to provide our services;
- Serving you (better) in case of questions and disputes.
The basis of the processing of personal data is found in the necessity to execute the agreement. This means sending the purchased goods or processing the order(s). Moreover, explicit permission has been given for the processing of your personal data. Veltmeijer Group therefore processes your personal data lawfully.
Automated decision-making;
Veltmeijer Group does not make any decisions on the basis of automated processing about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals. These are decisions that are made by computer programs or systems without the involvement of a person (e.g. an employee of Veltmeijer Group).
How long we store personal data;
Veltmeijer Group does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data are collected. We use the following retention periods for the following personal data:
Registration for play cards.
As long as the data subject gives permission to use the personal data, Veltmeijer Group may use those data. Veltmeijer Group uses these data to give the play card holder access to various games.
Newsletter
Veltmeijer Group stores these data until the data subject withdraws his or her permission to receive the newsletter. The purpose of this is to inform the data subject about actions and events.
Personal data in the event of a request for information
These personal details are kept for a maximum of one (1) year for the purpose of improving the quality of responses to information requests.
Camera images of visitors
Camera images may be kept for a maximum of four (4) weeks. We keep these camera images to ensure the safety of our visitors and employees. The retention period will only be extended in the event of a criminal offense.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Veltmeijer Group only provides personal data to third parties when this is necessary for the performance of our agreement or to comply with legal obligations.
Veltmeijer Group Analytics & Squarespace Analytics
Veltmeijer Group makes use of Google Analytics and Squarespace Analytics. Thus it is possible that cookies of Google Analytics and/or Squarespace Analytics are placed with the aim of collecting data to ultimately provide an optimal user experience. By collecting data through Google Analytics and Squarespace Analytics, Veltmeijer Group gains insight into the use and can apply these statistics to its website. The information obtained is transferred to and stored by Google and Squarespace on servers in the United States. Google & Squarespace may provide this information to third parties if Google and Squarespace are legally required to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on behalf of Google and Squarespace. Veltmeijer Group has no influence on this. Veltmeijer Group has not allowed Google and Squarespace to use the obtained analytics information for other Google and/or Squarespace services.

Amendments to this privacy statement
The rules concerning the protection of personal data may change constantly. Veltmeijer Group therefore reserves the right to make amendments to this privacy statement. Therefore, please check this statement regularly.
